A complete redesign of Hyperice’s existing e-commerce platform. The goal was to create an elevated digital experience that offers a deeper education and product discovery, while inspiring customers by bringing to life the brand story and promise: to move better for longer.


The Problem

Hyperice’s old e-commerce platform was not serving their customers well as individual product pages were buried, and product categories were difficult to understand. In approaching the redesign, we wanted to focus on bringing clarity to the site’s information architecture, provide education around product categories, and make popular products easier to discover.

The Solution

With a complex product catalog, it was important to keep simplicity and product education front and center when designing the site. As the products themselves do not speak to how they could help a user in an isolated view, it was decided to lead with an in-situ image for each of the product cards to demonstrate the area of the body it was meant for and the benefit it could provide to the user. Similarly, leading with thumbnails of popular products under the hero allows users to quickly jump into product detail pages without hunting around if they know the exact product they are looking for.
